The puzzles and the tools for completing them are well thought-out, the narrative explores new, more contemporary ideas, and the game looks magnificent. On the other hand, it doesn't surprise as much as its predecessor and, despite excellent vocal performances from the actors, at times we miss the more directed, but highly reactive "religious-superreal-scientific" experience of the simulation of yesteryear.
