Wonderful. Your dogs have been dognapped by a beaked lunatic who stuffed them into his eye holes and is using their life essence to destroy the universe. Does that make any sense? You've partnered with Trover, a little purple eye hole monster to save them. Find power babies and plug them into his eye holes so that he can absorb their power, track down Glorkon, and save your dogs (and the Universe).

Impulsegamer
By Paul StuartTrover Saves the Universe is gameplay and comedic excellence. Its awesome humor and interface make it perhaps the best title to date on Oculus Quest.
Nintendo Life
By Jake BaldwinTrover Saves the Universe is a surprisingly fun little game. The humour will not be to everybody's tastes, and while the core gameplay is extremely strong by itself, your appreciation for their style of comedy will ultimately determine whether or not you see this one through to the end. But for us, this was a hilarious twist on the puzzle-platformer genre which we can highly recommend for anybody looking for something a bit more weird and twisted.
Thumb Culture
By Jaz SagooAlthough the combat was quite dull and the puzzles were basic. I really enjoyed my time on Trover Saves the Universe, The game nails the humour. Due to this, I played the game with a permanent smile plastered across my face. It’s a flawed game but it’s fun romp in a dark, demented world and due to this, I give the game a Thumb Culture Silver Award.
Worth Playing
By David SilbertCharming is certainly the word I'd use to describe Trover Saves the Universe. In spite of its underwhelming gameplay and disorganized storytelling, there's a definite sense of joy to be had while exploring the vibrant planets of the cosmos alongside Trover and his R-rated sense of humor.

By Sebastiaan QuekelTrover Saves the Universe is by far the funniest video game in years and an absolute must for any self-respecting fan of Rick and Morty, Family Guy and South Park. The humor is as most fans of those series would like it to be: unadulterated hard, layered and at times also wonderfully basic. The story is as insane as it is genius, with fantastic tempo changes and unexpected twists. We take for granted that the story is short-lived and the gameplay is not that much.
