Critic Reviews
Eternity: The Last Unicorn is a bad game. It features plenty of bugs, unexciting combat, cumbersome inventory management and explorations obscured by static and badly placed camera.
Whatever it was, I really wish they had taken more time with their game; to truly get a feel for what people enjoyed about games like God of War, Dark Souls, and even Jade Empire. Unfortunately, until the game’s shortcomings are taken care of, I just can’t recommend this one and believe me, in the 15 hours I spent playing it, I really wanted to like it, but just couldn’t do so.
Eternity: The Last Unicorn is a very simple game. Its story attracts only the ones who are interested in the Norse Mythology. The gameplay mechanics present some critical problems and its presentation can not be considered part of the eighth generation games.
Eternity The Last Unicorn is a hot mess of a game with old school graphics and game mechanics that feels more dated than a launch title from the original PS1.
A game that might have had retro appeal, had it been a game released about 10 or 20 years ago. As a modern release it seems far too dated to compete with similar titles.
