In a struggle to stay alive on this harsh terrain filled with deadly creatures, soldiers who were previously on Motherbase now must work cooperatively in order to survive.
About the story
Survive takes place during an alternate timeline immediately following the conclusion of Ground Zeroes, with Big Boss leaving behind a destroyed Mother Base — as well as a group of soldiers who are now stranded in the remains. A wormhole opens up and ports them into a deserted, transformed version of Ground Zeroes’ setting, one plagued by disturbing creatures whom were biologically damaged during the move across time.

By Ethan ButterfieldIs Metal Gear Survive worth it? Oh yeah, totally. Game of the Year. Honestly, I don't know why you haven't bought it yet! Death Stranding won't be able to compete with this. Sarcasm aside, don't buy this game, just don't. Yeah, the environments and visuals are kind of neato and the feeling of helplessness certainly comes across, but it's just a clusterfuck.

By Hossein GhazaliMetal Gear survive uses the beautiful and huge world of MGS 5 in a hardcore survival game and i must say that it is really a good survival game because of huge amount of content and potential that the MGS 5 world has. Maybe MGS fans isn't happy because of using name of these epic series on a completely separate game, but i must say that you don't play "the name of a game", you play the game itself! And in this case, Metal Gear survive is a really valuable survival game that worth to try. Of course the game has some big problems in gameplay, but in the end it is a very entertaining hardcore survival game that you shoud try.

By Cody MedellinMetal Gear Survive reveals itself to be a decent title if you're willing to forgive the litany of things it does wrong. The concept is solid, even if the characters can't deliver the tale appropriately. The sneaking and quick item construction elements slightly make up for a weak combat system that makes killing Wanderers a chore. The base-building and crafting is fine, but the other survival elements are overdone to the point of tedium. It isn't a great survival game, and it's not something that Metal Gear fans would flock to, making it a title that can be best described as niche.

By Lliam AhearnMetal Gear Survive builds off of an excellent game to create something fundamentally different. Journeying through the dust and uncovering more of the map piece by piece is a rewardingly dangerous progression system, not unlike the save room style of Symphony of The Night or Resident Evil. Earning stronger and cooler gear while fitting out your base with bigger and better defences and resources is equally engaging, with new challenges consistently arising to replace those you’ve outgrown. It’s not a Kojima game, and it’s not a Metal Gear Solid game, but it’s a lot of fun and never fails to reward the time you put into it.

By Hossein TavakoliRidiculous story, repetitive gameplay, boring mechanisms and force to paying money are enough reasons to stay away from this game.
