About the story
Gilly, the owner of a local arcade, is trying to save his business from a faceless mega corporation. To do so he takes all the top arcade games and connects them all to make a super game. Unfortunately, the mega corporation, Fun Fun Co. hacks the game and injects a virus. You and your friends need to save the game and the last hometown arcade. Fun Fun Co. owned enemies and the Data Demons/glitches that have occurred due to Fun Fun Co. tampering are taking over Gilly's game. FFC enemies are prototypes to their real world weaponry and this is their test site. Gilly needs you in the fight!

GamesCreed
By Rexifirus NightshadeArcageddon is a super fun, fast-paced rogue-lite shooter with co-operative gameplay and interesting art styles. Run and shoot your way to the top of the leaderboard while jamming to an insane dubstep soundtrack as you take down funFUNco.
Multiplayer First
By Vitor BrazArcadegeddon is tight and very playable, the neon-drenched visuals are cool and stylish, assuming you’re open-minded about all the garish colors and epilepsy-inducing explosions, and it has enough weapon options and character customization to experiment with. But as hours pass, a certain feeling of sameness inevitably starts to creep in. The runs begin to feel dull, the enemy variety isn’t stellar, and all those edgy characters start to blend and look the same.
Digital Chumps
By Will SilbermanI cannot help but appreciate how Arcadegeddon hooked me into this really player-friendly loot shooter. The arcade-y elements are replayable, rewarding, and worth playing with friends. Arcadegeddon hits the spot as an MMO with roguelite elements with an awesome arcade aesthetic. But, I want more. Much more. If Arcadegeddon is to succeed in the MMO/roguelite space in the longer term, some of the advancement mechanics (such as preserving progress of longer runs) and lategame gameplay needs to be refined and expanded. I want additional modes like time trials that can easily and reliably completed in a single sitting. At the same time, I want some additional variety to make a three hour gauntlet exciting to reach. If you're wanting a co-op loot shooter that's easily picked up and played, look no further than Arcadegeddon. If you want something deeper, wait around a bit. Hopefully Arcadegeddon can hit that sweet spot, too.

By Jordan CampbellArcadegeddon provided me with a huge amount of fun. Whilst it can be casual, it also caters to hardcore shooter fans who want a real challenge. For the most part of the review I played solo and loved every second, but it is the perfect cooperative game and also brings competitive PVP into the mix.

By Angelo BiancoAfter a year in early access, Arcadegeddon has evolved and expanded to become a good multiplayer shooter but failing to make a qualitative leap.
