ABOUT THE GAME Koloro is a contemplative puzzle/platform game. Its story reveals a poetic world. The graphics and atmosphere are enhanced using contrasts, and bewitching sound effects and music. You play Kora who embarks on a quest to find her missing sister. You will need to find the courage to overcome obstacles and face strange creatures to guide her through dangerous levels full of mystery. Jump, perform wall jumps, toggle switches, request fireflies' assistance to open doors. Control water to find new ways through the levels. Discover many new and interesting gameplay features as you make your way throughout the four worlds of the game. NOT A CLASSIC PLATFORMER In Koloro you can't choose the way of your character. The only way to turn back is to wall jump. So, you will have to face the dangers and to solve puzzles to reach the portal with only the jumping button! PLAY WITH A FRIEND You will also be able to face danger and solve the riddles with a friend as an alternative two-player shared-screen story mode is available. Players will be able to enjoy this alternative mode together especially since the level design and the story will not be the same as the single-player mode. By Dusk FoxWhen deciding about whether this game is for you or not, it all comes down to one thing: if you like the first dozen or so levels, you will probably like the other 30+ stages it offers. If not, then it might be harder for you to really get into this one or you might find it a bit tedious. Kolori is certainly a good game that you can pick up and complete some levels here and there to come back to it whenever you want or can, so be sure to pick this one up for your Nintendo Switch!

By Gavin LaneThere's no shortage of charming, artistic puzzle-platformers on Switch and Koloro is certainly a good one; there's much to like in its simple mechanics and narrative, and there's satisfaction to be found in its puzzle-solving. The problem is that you've almost certainly seen everything it has to offer somewhere before and, as much as it engages your grey matter while you play, it's unlikely to stay with you in the same way the games it evokes do.

By Trevor GouldIf I see more of Koloro, I hope it's in smaller doses. Having co-op as an option for all of the levels would further increase appeal. The Nintendo Switch has many puzzle platformers, so Koloro might be one for fans to wish list. Content isn't an issue here though, as there's plenty to play so long as your interest is held. Just be prepared for a bloated, largely linear, and often tough go at it.
