Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is an all-new action role-playing game with an original story that expands on the hit TV series and brings the Bakugan universe to the Nintendo Switch for the very first time. The adventure takes players on the ultimate Bakugan journey as they befriend powerful creatures known as Bakugan, gear up and customize Bakugan teams for fiercely strategic battles, and master their skills to become the Champion of Vestroia. Players can also play online in head-to-head multiplayer.

Surely fans of animation will have some appreciation for Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia. The game is beautiful, has very vivid scenarios and portrait the monsters in epic proportions. However, the dull combat and repetitive structure can make all your excitement turn to regret for having started this adventure.

Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is a pretty enjoyable few hours and certainly fun with friends. Just make sure they’re around the same area as you since you use your single player team to fight them. It’s not a massively long game if you just aim to play the main missions, but if you’re in it to tackle everything, you’ll add a fair bit of playtime.

Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia it's not the best "Pokémon-type" game. Indeed, it feels a little bit limited, simple and repetitive, with combats that tends to be long than in other games... But its "bite sized" orientation, with gameplay elementes more condensed, make it ideal for the little ones in da house that dream of becoming a trainer.

Champions of Vestroia is a dull and uninspired title that doesn't make justice to neither the talent of Wayforward nor the original franchise. It's best to avoid it, for now at least.
