Critic Reviews

This is one of my favorite games ever. Coming back to it for the 3rd time for this review has only reinforced that feeling. It’s gorgeous, well-written, has excellent combat, a ton of depth, and with it now being on Game Pass it is well worth giving it a try.

I enjoyed my trip to Greece in an incredible way and Assassin's Creed Odyssey, even though it's the eleventh installment in the series, still has plenty to surprise me. The amazing story and interesting gameplay elements in the end are only hampered by the repetitiveness of the missions and the not-quite-finished gameplay. For fans, Odyssey is a must-have, and it must be added that the time spent in the game surpasses all previous Assassin's Creed titles. The game is extremely catchy and entertaining, and I'm always happy to return to the title feeling that the conversations with Socrates still have something to give me.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey has everything it needs to be bigger and better than Origins. But in practice, it's mostly just bigger.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey contributes to the revolution that the title has been having in recent years. Compared to Origin, it has improved gameplay mechanics and more refined side missions in many respects. If you are a lover of RPGs and the historical period, you cannot miss this title.

Despite a few bad things, the good is definitely overflowing here – this is probably my second favourite open world RPG this generation, only behind Witcher 3. I give this game a solid 9/10 – a good chunk of that missing point is down to the Colourblind mode as I honestly wouldn’t have been able to play through some of it on my own due to this!
