Critic Reviews
GameGrin
By Bennett PerryGore Doctor is an example of when a developer just makes a lazy, bad game. Be warned.
Games Freezer
By Casey RobertsThis feels like a game with lots of unrealised potential, weightless combat and an over-reliance on jump scares - it doesn't hit the mark, but being the first game by Salient games, I think they have potential and I am going to keep an eye out for what they do next. 5/10
Impulsegamer
By ImpulsegamerGore Doctor offers a compact horror experience with flashes of effective atmosphere and a premise that could have gone further. Its strongest feature is its environmental design, which succeeds in creating tension and curiosity as you explore the grim institute. However, weak combat, inconsistent writing, and a lack of polish prevent it from reaching its full potential. For players who enjoy short, gritty horror games with a hint of narrative intrigue and are willing to overlook technical roughness, Gore Doctor may be worth exploring, ideally at a discount.
Comunidad Xbox
By Alfonso JimenezGore Doctor is a good first-person horror experience with survival elements that tests us in closed environments, requiring us to be active in order to solve puzzles and prevent enemies from killing us. It's true that it's not a game for everyone due to its difficulty, and the fact that there is no voice or text in Spanish to help us understand the story in depth.
