Another Crab’s Treasure is a soulslike adventure set in a crumbling underwater world plagued by a mysterious curse. As Kril the hermit crab, you’ll need to wear the trash around you as shells to withstand attacks from enemies many times your size. Embark on an epic treasure hunt to buy back your repossessed shell, and discover the dark secrets behind the polluted ocean.
About the story
In this undersea society, trash is not only a way of life, but a valuable resource, used for everything from fashion to firearms. But with the presence of trash comes a mysterious infection known as the Gunk, which could spell doom for the entire ocean. As Kril explores the ocean, he'll gain a variety of Umami Techniques—powerful attacks learned from the denizens of the seas. Punch your enemies with the overwhelming might of a Mantis Shrimp, ensnare them with the horrifying Bobbit Worm, and much more.

Nintendo Blast
By Davi SousaAnother Crab’s Treasure delivered exactly what I expected from it: a much more inclusive version of the typical soulslike when it comes to difficulty. Everything (or almost everything) in Kril's journey exhudes care: characters, gameplay, battle, exploration, main mechanics.... There are few elements that leave something to desire, no matter how small, and, as I mentioned in the previous topic, they hardly interfere in the final result - the exception is the game's performance on Switch's portable mode, which, as I said, I recommend avoiding.

By Robert AndalonAnother Crab’s Treasure is a fresh take on genre that delivers an amusing plot, creative and deep mechanics while exhibiting a balanced challenge for new and veteran players alike. Kril’s journey is wholesome and full of charming and curious moments. Its combat is layered and full of creative shell abilities that keep the playstyle ever changing. Despite the game looking colorful and cartoony, the grunts and bosses do present a challenging experience that is a test of skill and patience. The performance is noticeably rough around the edges, but the experience is fun nonetheless. Another Crab’s Treasure is a treasure worth digging for indeed. I recommend this to those looking for a new challenge and those who have yet to experience a ‘soulslike.’

By Pascal TekaiaAnother Crab’s Treasure doesn’t reinvent the Soulslike wheel by any means. It does, however, establish some unique ideas. Not only does the shell system tie in well with the game’s unique aquatic setting, but it also adds a good amount of flexibility for players to overcome obstacles.
