By Mehdi ReazaeiDo you remember "Alone in the dark" game? that was a very unique game in survival horror genre and not like any other games of the genre. Now, 2Dark that made by the original developer of "Alone in the dark" Frédérick Raynal, is also a very "unique" horror game that you never played anything like that and has its own character. But this uniqueness doesn't mean that the game has not weaknesses, because it has some important issues on gameplay mechanics and balance. In the end i must say that if you are fan of horror genre and you want to experience a unique game with almost nice story telling, 2Dark could be one of your good choices.
Worth Playing
By Michael Keener2Dark has a lot of potential, and the premise is exciting. The developers dared to delve into a dark plot, and that bravery should be applauded. The title doesn't fail in any particular way, but it also doesn't meet its full potential. The gameplay felt overly complicated and could've benefited from a "less is more" approach. Some improvements to the inventory system also could've made gamers feel more in control of the protagonist. It would've been amazing if the game had managed to remain focused on some quick and tense action sequences, rather than spending so much time on tedious tasks, which interrupted the sense of immersion.
Gaming Nexus
By Sean Colleli2Dark is a compelling horror game that tackles some truly horrific subject matter. But cheap deaths and uneven level design hold it back from being truly great.
The Digital Fix
By Jazz Moore2Dark is a breath of 90s style horror for the modern era.

By Nathan HunterIn summary, 2Dark is an atmospheric experience, and while it isn't an out-and-out horror game, the game blends elements of survival horror with the main gameplay chiefly revolving around sneaking in a furtive manner through levels. The atmospherics are striking, and the cartoon-like animations work well as a contrast.
