Critic Reviews
GameOnly
By Mateusz KasperskiDeath Relives is a solid choice for those looking for a short, atmospheric horror game with an Aztec twist. It has mood and character, but also, unfortunately quite a few flaws. Still, if you’re a fan of horrors, it plays quite decently, as long as you can forgive its many rough edges and untapped potential. It’s clear the developers ran out of money or time. Or both.
Life is Xbox
By BennyDeath Relives has flashes of brilliance, but its repetitive gameplay and technical hiccups drain the dread from its promising premise. With polish, it could haunt players for all the right reasons.
Entertainment Geekly
By Luis AlvaroDeath Relives is a game I wanted to like more than I did. Its cultural grounding is commendable, and there is a kernel of a great horror experience in its premise. But the weak voice acting, dated visuals, questionable environmental design, slow pacing, and repetitive mechanics kept me from ever feeling fully engaged.

By Kevin LalOverall, Death Relives is a great new spin on the horror survival genre and a great first project for Nyctophile Studios. For all horror fans alike, I would recommend adding this to your roster.
