It isn't perfect, but Zombotron ends up being a darn good tactical shooting title.

Zombotron fulfills expectations. The game is fun even without an interesting storyline. It is a hell of a ride filled with many guns to play and many enemies to slay. Once you will try it, you will have to reach the end.

I had a lot of fun with Zombotron; it's accessible enough to jump in and have a blast right away whilst deep enough to allow for some progression and variety to keep things from growing stale. While some of the later levels are tough and overload the segments with far too many enemies, for the most part Zombotron manages to nail its premise with precision. When it comes to the saturated Indie game market, Zombotron has a lot going for it and given it's cheap price on Steam right now, it's well worth checking out.

Zombotron is interesting and noteworthy, but the repetition makes the game tiring. For those that don't have the patience to repeat the same level, again and again, the alternative is to get good or get out.

[T]he moment-to-moment gameplay is actually remarkably solid when everything is working as expected, and the underlying brilliance of the gameplay systems and their numerous tactical possibilities shines through even when it isn’t. With some rebalancing, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes, Zombotron could be quite the special game.
