Nindie Spotlight
By Nindie SpotlightFinishing off with the gameplay I think what’s critical is what you’re looking for. This isn’t a terribly smart or nuanced experience, it’s about making effective use of your guns and being smart about which ones you roll with. You should ideally have a mix of single-shot heavy hitters and continuous fire so you’re equipped for both bruisers and smaller more nimble foes. Keep an eye out for time disruptions you can shoot to temporarily slow down time as well as explosive barrels to use strategically and you can have some fun with the ridiculousness of it all for a while. It’s not a game that’ll likely be appealing outside of its niche but given the lack of options on the Switch it’s still a welcome addition to the Switch lineup.

By Fernando SánchezGoing from VR to a normal game is not easy, because the effect of surprising you lose on the way. This is what happens to Time Carnage, that what it does it does well, but it is not enough. Once the claim of virtual reality is lost, we are left with a somewhat slow wave shooter in its development, with little variety of game modes and some of these widely wasted. In its favor, it must be said that the four historical settings give rise to a variety of enemies, each with its own patterns and weaknesses, and that the mechanics with the four weapon slots give a certain dynamism and frenzy to the action in the waves. more advanced. It is a game that can be tested, although always before in VR if we have the option.

By Rodrigo BulhõesTime Carnage is far from being an example for other games - due to its repetitive, uninspired nature and dull gameplay, Time Carnage ends up not providing the players with any reasons to enjoy the experience and the result is a game that is easily avoided and whose only main quality is being correctly organized and without bugs.
Pure Nintendo
By Kirstie SummersTime Carnage is a decent enough arcade shooting game, but you can tell it wasn't designed for the Switch.
Nintendo Life
By Dom Reseigh-LincolnTime Carnage harks back to the good old days of heading down to the arcade to play House of the Dead or Virtua Cop, where you'd drop a couple of coins into a virtual shooting gallery and kill zombies all evening. While this indie shooter lacks the reliable precision of those light gun classics, it at least offers an enjoyable FPS alternative amid Switch's growing selection.
