In the world of Solistia, eight new travelers venture forth into an exciting new era. Where will you go? What will you do? Whose tale will you bring to life? Every path is yours to take. Embark on an adventure all your own.
About the story
The story takes place in Solistia, a land comprising an eastern and western continent divided by the sea. It is a bustling era, wherein large vessels navigate busy sea routes and the power of steam gives birth to new technologies. Some people thrill to glamorous stars of the stage and industry, while others are brought to tears by war, plague, and poverty. In this faraway realm, eight travelers hailing from different regions venture forth for their own reasons.

Critic Reviews
CBR
By Leo ReynaOctopath Traveler II proves that with the right number of updates to the classic formula, turn-based RPGs can still deliver a satisfying cinematic experience, even when the heroes are little pixelated baby-men.

By Jae LeeWhile there are still some improvements to be made in terms of difficulty balancing and dungeon designs, Octopath Traveler 2 makes meaningful improvements over the original and manages to realize most of its lofty ambitions, culminating into an experience not to be missed by any JRPG fan.
Cubed3
By Lilly KirchnerA title such as Octopath Traveler II comes with its own charm, but the turn-based battle system with different types of jobs allows for some great gameplay. Adding in a beautiful world to explore and a great soundtrack to enjoy, this title is a must-play.

By Sarwar RonOCTOPATH TRAVELER II is one of the best JRPGs I’ve ever played. 2D-HD graphics, in particular, have a striking visual flair. All these path acts contribute greatly to providing the player with an enjoyable experience, as the game features some interesting stories and a highly interactive universe. Those interested in the genre should check it out, and those who enjoy JRPGs with a strong emphasis on exploration and story should consider it a must-play.
