Worth Playing
By Joseph DoyleThroughout Mugsters, Reinkout has created a game that solidifies how well interactivity and fun work together. The addition of a simple goal and no instructions makes this game an absolute blast to play. While the controls can sometimes be wonky, Mugsters still works well. In general, even the game's side missions (collecting people to save from the levels, destroying certain weapons, etc.) are fun, intriguing, and feel like they're worth the time. Coupled with the vibrant aesthetics and minimal tone and sound, this makes Mugsters a fascinating puzzle game that feeds the player's curiosity like few other games have.

While the game has some fluidity problems and there could be more attention to detail on some elements, it has some interesting features and an original level design which will make players satisfied during short gaming sessions.

The concept and objectives are simple, yet challenging at times as you'll have to test out every way you can to get to your objectives. It's one of those games that you start playing without any expectations, but end up spending hours on it because it's incredibly fun and addictive. I'm happy that Team17 helped to publish this game on PS4 since it's a blast!
