The classic series takes a leap forward in visual presentation in Mega Man 11 with a 2.5D design direction introducing beautiful, completely hand-drawn characters and environments. A freshly redesigned Mega Man takes on Dr. Wily’s berserk machines, defeating Robot Master bosses and taking their weapons, in an ever-evolving fight for justice with new and unique enemy designs.

About the story

After completing his forbidden research into the Double Gear System, the evil Dr. Wily has turned once-peaceful robots into his destructive henchmen! However, the story of the Double Gear System is more than it seems. Originally designed to push robots past their limitations, Wily's device was deemed too dangerous and his research was halted. Recalling the incident years later, Wily completed his device and now seeks vengeance. With nothing but Dr. Light's prototype Double Gear, does Mega Man have the strength he needs to bring their feud to an end?

Mega Man 11 creates the best opportunity for old fans of series to meet their favorite character once again. the game carries its original gameplay from past titles and also adds new elements to create an ultimate experience for the players. However it would have been great to see new characters with high potential, specially among the antagonists of Mega Man.

Mega Man 11 brings new elements to the series, there are huge changes in the graphics but still this is not a masterpiece and at most it acts as a respectful return for the Mega Man Series.

Honestly, “everyone wins” should be the tagline for Mega Man 11.

Mega Man 11 is one of the best action platformers of this generation. Like most of previous installments in this popular series, it is a very good mixture of Action and Platforming challenges that need your focus and fast reactions. The story –like other games in the franchise- is very predictable but it was never an important part in Mega man games. By considering all aspects of the game, Mega Man 11 is one of the best choices if you are looking for a high quality and challenging action platformer and of course if you are fan of Mega Man series. Capcom has done a great job with one of the most famous robotics of the world.

The initial thrill is sizable, but once it tapers off, Mega Man 11 reveals itself to just be a good game, not a great one. There's no shame in that; I'm just grateful the blue bomber is back. I'd hoped for something that better balanced the old-school with innovation after all this time, but that isn't something the series has generally been known for. The familiarity is comforting in many ways, so for those with nostalgic interest, I recommend the physical amiibo edition with some cool extras.
