E.T. Armies is a science fiction first person shooter. The game takes place in a dystopian future in which Earth’s resources have been depleted. Abandoning the planet seemed to be the only avenue for survival but not all could leave. Those left behind have become united in their struggle. It’s just the beginning for the Forsaken and the start of their devastating plan for vengeance. The Forsaken hungers for supremacy and power in equal measures and war is its lifeblood. As a Parsis soldier you are charged to resist this new power and defend the fragile landscape against the Forsaken’s ruthless onslaught. Along the way you’ll face more strife than you could have possibly expected, together with your allies you must fight to cleanse the land from the Forsaken’s brutality.

About the story

In a far future, mankind has found new planets as their new homes and as the world expands itself the hunger for power and supremacy rises. Although many new homes are found, our mother land earth is fallen and is no place to wage more war on. Abandoning our homeland seems to be the only answer to our survival. However, not all can leave. From all over the world a new nation is born to fight for their survival in a dead planet. But its all just a small spark, a spark of hatred that may set fire upon our new homes one day, one day that the hunger for power turns that sparkle into flame.

Pardis Game

Even if we consider the limitations and problems of the developers, E.T. Armies does not go beyond a weak and disappointing game in the end. The developers' efforts to create an AAA title are commendable, but lack of sufficient experience in this field, coupled with a series of mistakes, has made this title not to appear at a good quality level and also have a lot of problems; Problems that right now and years after the game's release date, show themselves much more than before and have drastically lowered its value

Worth Playing

In the end, E.T. Armies is nothing really special. The gunplay is fine so long as you're content with using a limited amount of weaponry against some brainless AI. The story is passable if you're OK with a presentation that's not exactly up to snuff. Without a real multiplayer community to extend the life of the game, E.T. Armies is overly dependent on the campaign maintaining players' interest in the title. It's a good effort from the studio, but it's not the best choice if you're jonesing for some FPS fun.

E.T. Armies is a well-made indie FPS with a few caveats that occasionally detract from a mostly enjoyable experience. The narrative is pretty forgettable and the lack of controller options may put some unsuspecting players off, but the moment-to-moment gunplay is the real draw here and it shines through brightly. If you're in the mood for some mindless, albeit budget, action then E.T. Armies has got you covered. If only it had a catchier name.
