Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbuckler (2016)
Alliance Digital Media
Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbuckler is a classic point-and-click adventure, created with love by an indie team that includes LucasArts alumni, Bill Tiller (The Curse of Monkey Island, Steven Spielberg's The Dig, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine). Play as Duke, a pirate who’s had success in pillaging, ransacking, and other forms of piratey goodness, but doesn’t know a thing about women. Help him prove to his crew he has what it takes to become a captain by winning the affection of the opposite sex – a task that is the most difficult challenge this seasoned pirate has faced! Along his journey to “sea-deuce” he’ll have to tame jaguars, fight zombie sailors, and even wrestle a gorilla!

By Becca S.It isn't without its faults, but altogether the cast of Duke Grabowski, along with its hilarious story, make it a great addition to the point-and-click genre.

By Luis RodriguezDeveloped by Venture Moon Industries under the leadership of designer Bill Tiller, LucasArts' former chief artist, distributed by Alliance Digital Media and born in KickStarter, Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbuckler is a comic classic style 'point and click' adventure about The biggest and tough pirate of Azurbbean.
Hey Poor Player
By Kieren HawkenThe game is cheap enough that I think it’s probably worth it for the really ardent point and clickers out there and fans of the LucasArts adventures in general. Although it’s fairly short, Duke Grabowski is planned to be part of a long running series, following his adventures across the high seas. Of course, this is assuming the game is popular enough to warrant it. However those looking for a more thought provoking adventure game that they can really get stuck into will be best off letting this one sail away.

By Adam RileyDuke Grabowski, Mighty Swashbuckler starts off in the shadow of games it has clearly been inspired by, not quite living up to their high standards. However, it quickly shakes this off thanks to the abundance of charm exuding from every pore helping to alleviate the issue, leaving gamers with an excellent -albeit bite-sized - pirate-filled point-and-click romp that fans of the genre will lap up with joy.
