Enchantment Under the Sea goes back to the spectacular combat gameplay that made Atomic Heart one of the highlights of 2023, as players continue the main storyline with the Twins’ consciousness at their side and new weapons in their arsenal. Meet new and returning characters while diving into the mysteries of the underwater Neptune Research Center to find a way to save humanity from a dismal future. Players will also revisit familiar locations from Facility 3826 that have changed beyond recognition, like the flying city of Chelomey, now under the robots’ total control.

Overall, "Atomic Heart: Enchantment Under the Sea" is a riotous sci fi FPS that had me hooked from minute one and has made me promise myself that I will play the original base game before the end of 2025. Of course it's a must-play for fans of the series so far and a solid recommendation to those who enjoy the likes of Bioshock and Wolfenstein.

While not without its drawbacks, it is an exemplary DLC, which brought additions to the plot, a pleasant combat with new mechanics and weapons, and a little bit of new music.

Enchantment Under the Sea is some of the best content Atomic Heart has received so far, keeping up with the quality established by the base game and also providing players with some much-needed mobility through the grappling hook, adding quite a bit of depth to both exploration and combat.
