TheSixthAxis
By Jonny FosterIt's difficult to recommend Arkham Horror Mother's Embrace if you're not already a fervent fan of the universe, and knowledge of what this game could have done with the source material will leave you yearning for a better digital implementation of Asmodee's tabletop tour de force.

By Rhett WaselenchukIf you can look past all of the issues plaguing Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace, there are certainly worse games to spend a weekend with. Especially if you’re a fan of Lovecraftian horror, but steer clear of it if you’re somebody that asks of your 2021 gaming experiences to at least feel like you’re playing something made in the past fifteen years. Granted, I’ll be curious to see if this receives a sequel, as I do believe this series could become a sleeper hit. Stay tuned.
Video Chums
By A.J. MaciejewskiArkham Horror: Mother's Embrace presents quite a cool gameplay concoction but it doesn't execute any of its elements all that well. If its concept appeals to you then you might have some fun but it'll still be weighed down by its hard to ignore shortcomings.
PC Invasion
By Jason RodriguezArkham Horror: Mother's Embrace suffers from a bland and unspectacular combat system, a questionable sanity gimmick, and a litany of technical issues that are too glaring to ignore. Although it's an adaptation of a board game, you might as well call it a "bored game" due to the tedium and frustration you'll experience.
