The game's rather slow pace may not please everyone but this is a good proposal that has the merit of making a point and click game something enjoyable on a gaming console.

Surely you have ever wondered what you would do if you were immortal. What would happen if, each time you died, you could come back to life a few minutes later. Would you dare to live to the limit? Would you try to correct the mistakes of your past ?. These are some of the questions posed by John Yesterday, the protagonist of this remarkable graphic adventure recently arrived at the catalog of our Switch.

Yesterday Origins is a remarkable graphic adventure that, however, does not manage to shine in Nintendo Switch due several technical issues. It remains the memorable piece of art it once was, with a wonderful story to follow, but there are some serious drops regarding framerate that need to be worked on.

Yesterday Origins fails to escape many of the flaws of its genre, and doesn’t do enough with its story or characters to tolerate those issues.

Yesterday's Origins doesn't attempt to change the formula of the point and click adventure and that's okay. The story is delightfully bonkers and it looks pretty, but if you dig deep there's some repetition, some odd stylistic choices and you might not recall it in years to come, but it's nice to see such a game on Nintendo Switch.
