By Nikola SuprakA Pixel Story has the potential to be great, but falls just short of capturing that potential.

By Ryan WelchI loved the graphical changes as I went through each zone. The gameplay may be a little simple for some and the puzzles may not be challenging for every gamer. It's a great indie game for any gamer who enjoys platforming, puzzles, and a walk through game development history.

By James PaleyAlthough I was ultimately bested by the game’s brutal difficulty, I can still recognize the excellent design philosophy at work here.

By EdENA Pixel Story is a fun and challenging puzzle/platformer with a great look that evolves as you play. Each generation has its own charm and will remind older players of how gaming used to be “back in the day.” Other than a single complaint about how the game’s text is too small and hard to read unless you’re closer to the TV, I definitely recommend that you play this one on PS4.

By Gabriel FrancoA Pixel Story is a game of mixed sensations. It gave me a tremendous feeling of satisfaction when I figured out its puzzles and was able to progress, but it also got me pretty frustrated as I moved forward and was welcomed by even harder levels with few elements changing from one to stage to another, this cause the game to become tedious as time goes by.
