ByFrustration at not being able to play it rapidly dispersed any enjoyment from the beautiful, rugged terrain.

By Pedro MesquitaUltra Off-Road 2019: Alaska presents itself as a racing game that puts the player in courses with obstacles and meteorological conditions, the problem is none of this works as expected. Repetitive game mechanics, with very little to attract the players and with a poor and flawed audiovisual performance, Ultra Off-Road 2019: Alaska gives off the impression that this game should simply not be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop catalogue.

By Craig M. PattenSumming up, Ultra Off-Road 2019: Alaska on the Nintendo Switch is probably a game to pass on. It might play better on other platforms because the Switch isn’t as powerful as the others. I’m gonna give it the Bronze Award because I didn’t enjoy my time spent with the game, and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever pick it up again. I was hoping for an epic off-roading game and what I got I felt was sub-par. Maybe my expectations were just set too high.

By A.J. MaciejewskiIf Alaskans actually drove like you do in this game, the whole state would be completely covered in abandoned overturned vehicles.

By A.K RahmingIf you're itching for a true off-roading simulator, then have a look at Spintires: MudRunner. It launched last year on Switch and still manages to provide a very high-quality experience with both gameplay and visuals. Ultra Off-Road Simulator basically looks and feels like someone saw MudRunner and wanted to copy it in the cheapest way possible. Thus, you're better off just going straight to the source.
