Worth Playing
ByOverall, The Jackbox Party Pack 9 is average, so if you're looking for new material for virtual get-togethers, this is a serviceable option. Fibbage 4 is dependable, and Junktopia was a pleasant surprise. The enjoyment of Nonsensory and Quixort is heavily dependent on the prompts that players receive in each of those minigames. I can't imagine anyone willingly returning to Roomerang.

The only piece that is really missing is an interesting drawing game; there is a round of drawing in Nonsensory, but it is not the center of attention. On the other hand, thanks to transduction we will be able to have this and future installments adapted to our language.

You have a new Fibbage entry for those looking for something familiar along with some fun new games like Quixort and Junktopia. Roomerang and Nonsensory didn’t speak to me as much but those with different groups may enjoy them more. If you usually enjoy this series then I have no doubt you’ll get plenty of laughs out of this ninth outing.
