The Fisherman: Fishing Planet (2019)

Overall the game is relaxing I ended up falling asleep from the sounds of nature coming from the game twice. I had fun with this game after getting used to it and will defiantly come back to play more when I need a break from all the violent games out there. A downside to this game is it requires an internet connection. The Fisherman is one of the best fishing sims on the market today but may not be for casual fisherman looking for an arcade fishing game.

The Fisherman – Fishing Planet is without doubt a game for the angling enthusiast but takes a decent stab at trying to lure a few more fans over to the pastime.

The Fisherman is a very enjoyable and relaxing game, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time playing it. As a new player, I can recommend it, for the initial purchase you get a lot of game for the money and the removal of the microtransactions and the reworked economy make for a much more enjoyable and relaxing game, which in my eyes a fishing game should be. If however, you’re a seasoned Fishing Planet player I can’t see it being a worthwhile purchase, If you’ve already invested 100’s of your own hours or more importantly money into the free game, it’s a lot to give up for reworked mechanics. I feel The Fisherman deserves the gold thumb award!

The Fisherman: Fishing Planet is a true masterpiece. Making use of excellent physics and game development tools to produce a fantastic representation of the sport of Fishing. Offering that tranquil get away right in your living room. With sublime easy to use controls, and an abundance of detail for the true fisherman in you. Quite simply breath-taking.
