Super Robot War X is a tactical role playing game published by Sintax in the early 2000s. It is loosely based on Banpresto's Super Robot Wars video game franchise. The songs in the game are taken from the Game Boy game Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen G.

Super Robot Wars X puts a bit of a fantastical spin on the usual formula, although despite all the mystical monsters and super robot sorcerers, it doesn’t have quite the same magic as other entries.

Overall, this is one of the best recent entries to the Super Robot Wars games and having it on the Switch makes it all the more compelling and convenient, not to mention being more in line with the portable history of the series.
