GameFM
By Paulo TelesSignalis stands out for its immersive soundscape, ambiguous characters, and narrative steeped in cosmic horror symbolism. With a tense soundtrack, immersive sounds, and gameplay that balances action and stealth, the game captivates both retro gamers and a new generation of players.

By Lucas BarretoSIGNALIS is a tragic melody, like the one played by Orpheus' lyre. From the beginning, we sail with the certainty of doom, but we never stop sailing. There are no villains or evil to be avoided, but rather a world being consumed by itself, in an ungrateful, empty contempt. Still, the game is capable of teaching hope. When we reach the credits for the first time, we understand that we have not truly reached the end, and then, the player can find strength in the recovered memory, when understanding the truth behind the game's mission. From then on, our choices can lead us to three different endings that dialogue directly with the way the player interacted with the game, giving it a spiritual conclusion.

By Alessandro Da CampoSIGNALIS, regardless of its flaws, is an idea born from a great passion for the horror genre, cultivated in the best possible way with the resources of an indie.

By Simone CantiniCryptic as you like, and hampered by a frustrating inventory management system, it would be unfair to reduce Signalis to these flaws alone. Analyzed as a whole, rose-engine's production is a design and atmosphere gem, reviving the original survival horror concept and adapting it to the present without losing its essence. The story may be hard to grasp, and you might curse like in a soulslike after returning to the magic chests countless times, but its dark allure is hard to resist. Sure, you might drop it out of frustration, but the urge to finish it will always be there. Perfect? No. Fascinating? Absolutely.
