For me, many tower defense games feel like DPS checks against each wave, while Orcs Must Die feels active and engaging. Maybe it’s because it’s less about towers and more about traps, or perhaps it’s because of the physical nature of how the Orcs react to your traps, such as getting rag-dolled and knocked down. Either way, Orcs Must Die 3 is a clever game that combines strategic planning, creative trap laying, cooperation, and action into a tight little package of entertaining slaughter.

It's different, it's better, it's more orcish. If you're a fan of the tower defense genre or you just like orc slaughter, Orcs Must Die! 3 is a great game for you. It will entertain both fans of games where you destroy your enemies by the hundreds and where you feel like the absolute number one, as well as those who like to take tactics and let others do the work for them thanks to good planning.

Returning the franchise to the original style seems to have paid off. With brilliant, fast paced, tower defence gameplay on offer it will keep two cooping players thoroughly entertained and wanting to play just that one more level. There's a huge range of levels to play through, different modes to unlock, traps both big and small to upgrade, and so much more. The inclusion of the war scenario mode adds that wow factor of scale, without losing what makes Orcs Must Die 3 fun. There is always another wave of orcs, trolls, elementals and more ready to fight, and you'll want to defend against them time and time again!

Xbox fans of strategic horde smashing will find a perfect home with Robot Entertainment’s latest game in the series. There are plenty of maps, challenges, and a variety of ways to defend your tower from the orcs. There are not any glaring flaws as far as the eye can see, and for what it is worth, I think that is what makes Orcs Must Die! 3 an easy recommendation for the strategy fan.
