Nuclear Blaze is a 2D firefighting game from the creator of Dead Cells, with all the devastating backdrafts, exploding walls and sprinklers you could expect. Fight your way through a mysterious facility and try to keep the blaze under control. As a trained firefighter, you're being air-dropped right in the middle of this hell blaze to investigate and look for survivors. But the unexpected presence of an unknown military facility might somewhat affect your plans. Using only your fire hose and your skills, you try to clear all fires in each area. But that won't be an easy task: wildfire will spread around you, and even just opening a door might become a serious threat if not planned carefully. But Nuclear Blaze isn't only about firefighting: the world is packed with secrets, story bits and... cats to save!

By Paulo Roberto MontanaroImproving on what was already great, the PlayStation 5 version of Nuclear Blaze uses the 120 fps and adaptive triggers as nice additions to enhance the experience, amplify the sense of immersion, and highlight exemplary aesthetic and gameplay work.
Softpedia
ByThe gameplay is addictive and innovative, while the controls are simple and tight. Perhaps the game needed a few more tunes, but the pixel art is very well done. There’s no voice-acting, but there’s a little bit of an unconventional story to discover if you’re a fan of mysteries. The only downside is that Nuclear Blaze ends very fast. It’s like a very short SCP novel that you read while commuting. It took me less than two hours to finish it, but I had a lot of fun. Get this if you’re looking for a good platformer.

By Justin OneilAfter spending a couple hours putting out fires in Nuclear Blaze, I can say I enjoyed my time with it even if it has some issues. It’s a short game and it doesn’t change up much in the gameplay as it goes but manages to be fun nonetheless.
Nindie Spotlight
By Justin NationA creative take on a puzzle platforming adventure that’s challenging but fair, and has plenty of secrets to discover along the way
