By Gaming ProfessorsA WAY OUT may be linear, but you’ll have a great time playing it with a friend for seven hours. In my opinion, the full price is a bit steep considering the playtime. You won’t be able to go back or veer off course, but on the other hand, the story will draw you in far more than the gameplay itself. At the same time, you’ll have to actively communicate with your co-op partner, which is definitely a nice addition to the game for some.

By Herbert VianaMany games offer a co-op experience in their campaigns, but very few require their stories to be played exclusively in this mode. As one of those rare cases, A Way Out delivers an outstanding co-op experience, requiring both players to constantly communicate and decide on the best way to move forward. It was one of the best co-op experiences I've ever had, even if the mechanics aren't quite as polished at times.
