By Luna ErikssonIt is so easy to want to fall in love with Kamikaze Empire. It has some truly interesting ideas, such as dying being an optimal strategy, and intriguing challenges that change how one interacts with stages. However, the base gameplay is repetitive and lacks refinement. To make matters worse, the visuals are uninspired and the audio is dull. This makes it difficult for anyone but hardcore gamers to progress past the halfway point of the brief story mode. Unless craving a punishing challenge, it’s best to look elsewhere.
