By Alana DunitzJitsu Squad is a 2D beat 'em up game full of action and lots of fun animal characters to play as. If you are looking for a four-player game, wait until there is a patch. If you want a fun single-player experience with great music and loads of action, you can't go wrong with Jitsu Squad.

By Carlos França JúniorJitsu Squad is simply a product suitable for playing alone or with someone, for people who want something fun and with the right amount of intensity without missing on its soft, cartoonish humor. Its small issues aren't enough not to have this beat'em up in your list.

By Rubén RionegroJitsu Squad offers us a fresh, original and fun beat 'em up. Thanks to its original and attractive hand-drawn visual style, we will find a spectacular action game with a frenetic and addictive gameplay in which humor and references to other games will not be lacking. The soundtrack is another of its strengths and several of its songs will play in our heads for hours. A safe purchase with which we will have a lot of fun both solo and in multiplayer.
Nintendo Life
By Scott McCraeThe main issue, however, is the game's performance, with some levels (such as the train) feeling like they play in slow motion at times. We also experienced crashes a few times throughout our post-patch playthrough — and we had to wait for the day one update thanks to the constant crashing of the unpatched version. Hopefully things will continue to improve over time, but if you happen to get a physical copy of the game, make sure you update it.

By Ken McKownJitsu Squad is the definition of a pleasant surprise. I only learned about the game a month ago, the console launch has brought it to more platforms and I had an absolute blast playing through it. If you are like me and cannot get enough of the genre Jitsu Squad is a must own. I find myself revisiting this game over and over and learning the nuances of combat. That is a great sign of a great game. Definitely do not sleep on this colorful brawler.
