Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is an enhanced edition of the original role-playing game developed and published by ZA/UM. It retains the core gameplay and narrative while adding full voice acting, new quests, additional endings, and other narrative revisions.
About the story
Disco Elysium is a stylish open-world role playing game where it's up to you to decide what sort of detective you want to be. After waking up in a trashed hostel room with a hangover and no memory of his past, follow a detective trying to piece his life back together while investigating a murder in the town of Revachol. After initially appearing to be an open and close case, it soon transpires this murder has triggered a chain of events that has wider implications on the city and its inhabitants. Death, sex, taxes, and disco – nothing is off the table. Revachol is a real place with real challenges. Solve the massive murder investigation or relax and kick back with sprawling side-cases. The detective decides - the citizens abide.

Critic Reviews
By Antonio Marchena
It emerges as an irreverent letter to heartbreak, desolation, psychology and revolution. Behind its proposal hides an unimaginable talent, and that is something that an improvable version cannot hide.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is one of the most interesting and tightly written stories we've seen in a video game. It also offers a freedom and impact that puts Telltale Games in a bad light. Slightly clumsy controls and a bug here and there does not prevent us from enjoying this absurdist spectacle to the fullest.

There will be essays written on Disco Elysium. This is one of those games that will be studied in universities as Citizen Kane is studied in film and D. H. Lawrence's work is all-but unavoidable if you study literature. It's not necessarily the most outright entertaining thing the medium has ever produced, but it's an important work that explores the boundaries and potential of video games, while also having the nuance and layers it needs to challenge players to think beyond the joy they get from pressing buttons. Even if you have to play the Switch port, as inferior as it is, you should make sure that you play Disco Elysium on something.

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut presents us with a different bet where the classic mechanics of role-playing games are mixed with a unique script that will provide us with a large number of hours of entertainment where decision-making will be crucial in our adventure. With this final version there is no longer an excuse to face this excellent adventure.
