Critic Reviews
Cubed3
By Nikola SuprakCastles is in a very unfortunate release as it is highly derivative of a very tired formula, yet at the same time does things worse than most of the games that came before it. Having the player control a character that pushes the blocks leads to an enormous amount of undue frustration and makes this somehow even less palatable. Even when they try something kind of new, it just doesn't lead to the kind of pay off that it should. It is just a stale, uninteresting game in a stale, uninteresting genre. Perhaps the most rabid of match-three enthusiasts might get a kick out of this, but this castle is one that should just be torn down.

By Josh BorboneThis game is challenging in a good way. While it can be frustrating, I find that when I did hit that checkpoint, I had this great sense of accomplishment.
Readers Gambit
By Mick DohertyIf you're a fan of fast paced puzzle games then Castles is the game for you, but I wouldn't buy it if you're expecting a lengthy playtime.
Video Chums
By A.J. MaciejewskiCastles is an enjoyable little puzzler with a cute presentation, easy to understand gameplay, and a variety of fun modes.
