WWE 2K23 (2023)

WWE 2K23 marks the return of the series to the annual format. Although this delivery was better than the previous year's, there was scope for more significant improvements with extra development time. The new formula is solid, as the previous game had already proved. But for those who acquired WWE 2K22, this year's proposal may not have enough arguments to justify the price of a new game. There are small improvements here and there. The Tag Teams fight together in the Royal Rumble, which makes sense. War Games mode was included. But overall, it feels more like an update and not something new. It's a problem that cuts across all the annual games.

This is possibly the best game in the series in the last 15 years and it would not be surprising if many people hailed it as the best ever. The improved and faster gameplay, the cast of characters that despite having some missing, still manages to exceed 240 men and women fighters and all the beauty of the game from its menus to the character entries leaves anyone delighted with what is to see on television. Anyone who played the previous one, liked it and manages to buy this is a must-have game to put on your shelf.

WWE 2K23 is a solid wrestling title, but once you realize that most of the content is taken over from the previous entry in the series and the new game doesn't even fix the issues that were present previously, it feels like a missed opportunity.

WWE 2K23 is yet another success in the franchise. It continuous what was done in the previous entry and adds many features that wrestling fans were hoping for.

WWE 2K23 is all about improvement and refinement with this year's entry. While it doesn't bring a lot new with it to the table, there is still a lot to like with this follow-up.
