Sadly, its lack of depth and promise of no further content will leave those who have to buy the game questioning whether to spend the money, no matter how little money it is.

While it is a totally different experience to Dead by Daylight, and doesn't have nearly as much content, it's definitely worth checking out if you want a fun platformer/roguelike combo to play with your DBD duo and sink a couple of hours into.
