By Konstantinos KalkanisTormented Souls 2 seems to be a title created by people who love what they do and have grown up with the games they essentially pay tribute to, striving to keep their legacy alive.

By Vladan NastanovićDual Effect has delivered a title that doesn’t try to please everyone, but instead confidently says, “This is for you - veterans who survived the PlayStation 1 era.” Tormented Souls 2 is not just a tribute to its inspirations; it’s proof that small developers can create experiences that stand shoulder to shoulder with the genre’s undisputed giants.
Analog Stick Gaming
By Rebecca StapletonIs Tormented Souls 2 the perfect game? Absolutely not. The beginning months of its release were a little rocky, technologically speaking, in terms of game-halting bugs and occasional awkward camera transitions, etc. Does that make it terrible? Not in the slightest. TS2 was a great horror experience that I got willingly sunk and immersed into for sometimes hours at a time.
GameFM
By Pierry LimaWith some isolated flaws but a solid and coherent proposal, Tormented Souls 2 establishes itself as one of the most interesting experiences in recent horror. It’s a game that doesn’t seek to comfort the player, and precisely for that reason, it lingers in the memory long after the last dark corridor.

By Terrence JohnsonIt’s atmospheric, unsettling, and just challenging enough to keep you hooked from start to finish. If you grew up with fixed cameras, ink ribbons, and limited shotgun shells, you’ll feel right at home. But if you are like me and have outgrown tank controls and fixed cameras, then this is one mystery that is better left unsolved.
