In classical god game fashion, Tidal Tribe gives you the power to shape the terrain. Raise and lower the land to protect your village from floods and waves, all while using that very same water to build lakes and rivers, turning the desert land into a lush forest of trees and bushes.

Tidal Tribe is a god game but thrives as a Zen experience. A broad and unique offering, the game could benefit from increased focus and better writing. The game will not likely make any ‘greatest games’ lists, but that shouldn’t take away from how impressive it is that one individual developed this, and Tidal Tribe is not a bad game by any stretch.
Tidal Tribe takes a small mechanic from other simulation games and built itself around it beautifully. It’s relaxing to play, simple to learn, but deceptively complex to master and it has a lot of content.
