Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo is a well-made rally game that builds wisely and extensively on top of a rich heritage of rally games. While it ultimately fails to make up its mind about whether it's a sim or more of an arcade racer, which does hold it back in some senses, there's still no question that it's a highly worthwhile package. It's crammed with content and offers hours of driving joy without quite the same amount of grief one gets from a DiRT Rally or Assetto Corsa. Milestone has impressed massively with their latest rally offering, benefiting exponentially from the insight and presence of Sebastien Loeb. Let's hope there's a sequel!

Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO is a solid racing game that offers a mostly basic racing experience with a few unique twists. Rally-style racing with a co-pilot navigator proves to be both fun and challenging, but with an incredibly silly collision mechanic, the game does lack a little in immersion and realism. This game could have been the very best toy car racer ever created, but as- is, Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO is a decent racer that I'd recommend particularly to seasoned racing game fans looking for a real challenge.

Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo offers enough content to keep fans of the genre engaged for a long time, featuring a hard to control and even harder to master type of gameplay that many gamers will appreciate.

I have no affiliation with or love for rally auto sports, but after watching the 15-minute magnum opus of an intro video to the Loeb Experience mode, I was hooked.

Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO doesn't do anything that really blows me away. It's a decent racing game for sure, but at the same time, it's incredibly average. At the end of the day, this game didn't give me anything that racing games I've played before haven't. If you're really into rally racing, this game is more than likely worth a buy, but if you're a novice like I, I'd recommend trying it and seeing how you feel about it.
