video games are good
By Nathan HermansonRetreat to Enen requires you to fully give yourself over to its experience to enjoy it. It requires you to go full zen, to release all the stressors, to breathe out all the negative energy that the game places in your lap and enjoy only the good. But sometimes in life, you can't do that. Sometimes you have to face the negatives and accept them. Take them and learn a lesson for the future. And that's what I hope Head West does, because Retreat to Enen proposes some ideas worth honing.
GameSkinny
By Jonathan MooreRetreat to Enen is a game built around meditation and mindfulness that muddles its message in a world of contradiction and imbalance.
Thumb Culture
By Thumb CultureRetreat to Enen is landing at a time when we as humans are starting to really explore the issues of climate change, and our effect on the natural world. The game really explores some of these issues in a relaxed and passive manner.

By Rubén ManzanaresRetreat to Enen is one of those titles that tries to innovate and totally falls by the wayside, sometimes looking for new things is not the best solution. This is what happens with this title, which has a fairly short duration, since it basically consists of visiting the ruins of each map. In addition, the mechanics of meditating are not very well implemented and can be even tedious. Undoubtedly, despite having a very careful graphic style and some interesting ideas, it is not a recommended title, even if survival is your favorite genre. It will be necessary to see if in the future it improves based on updates.

By Giovanni PanzanoDespite having noble intentions, Retreat to Enen fails to offer engaging game mechanics that can spur the player to continue his survival.
