Konami needs to go back to basics, stop adding things to the game, and perfect the very foundation of it because, at the moment, everything seems to be flawed. For every 'Ooh that's awesome' moment, there is another, glaring 'Is that it?' moment. In the grand scheme of things, it is an average package but a decent football game.

Its simulation play is better than ever, and it leads to much more satisfying victories than in EA Sports' alternative.
