NaviGames
By Alejandro Morillas TellezIf you like traditional shoot 'em up and want to try something different, Gearshifters is a must buy. Its original approach and wonderful arcade gameplay will give you hours and hours of fun.
The Games Machine
By Stefano CalzatiA small-scope but excellent game with very clear ideas, enjoyable, sincere and particularly exciting when the going gets tough, like during very intense boss fights. Pimping our ride to make it look even more aggressive and suited to the post apocalyptic world feels great. A Mad Max-like shoot 'em up is exactly what we needed.
Nindie Spotlight
By Justin NationThis is a game that really has me emotionally split in two, making it a challenge to review...
GameSpew
By Richard SeagraveGearshifters’ fresh take on the horizontally-scrolling shooter template makes it easy to recommend not only to shoot ’em up fans, but also those into car combat games. There’s something immensely satisfying about slamming hard on the brakes to quickly get behind a group of assailants, before unleashing a barrage of bullets at their rears and speeding back up to ram them. Throw in a wealth of car upgrade and customisation options, and you have a game that’s fun to return to time and time again.
