By Casey ScheldFires at Midnight deftly conveys the twisted, complex nature of relationships in just a short amount of time. Though the gameplay can be rigid and the content crude, the worldbuilding achieved is worth a go for visual novel fans looking for a darker tale.

By Alleef AshaariDespite being only two hours long for a single playthrough, the multiple endings and hidden “Second Layer” clues will have players coming back for more. As far as visual novels go, this 2020 title hits most of the right spicy notes.
