By Kaelyn DaughertyI had a lot of fun playing Crossing Souls. The game turned out to be a lot more than I thought it was and even though I'd seen the references and heard the jokes, I could relate to it. Not to mention how much I love the overall look and sound of the game. It leaves you wanting more, but in a good way.

By the_nmacI loved Crossing Souls as it was a gateway back to the movies, cartoons, and games of my childhood. It doesn't stop at Nostalgia though, the game has some fun mechanics and interesting puzzles built into it as well. There are some really satisfying boss levels and some really cool retro game throwback levels.

By Matt C.If only the rest of the game could live up to those visuals. Crossing Souls works just fine as a vessel for rose-tinted '80s nostalgia, but shallow storytelling and gameplay that shifts from uninteresting to outright frustrating ensures that it never gets to be anything more than that.

By Jason GerminoCrossing Souls may not be a perfect game, but damn it, it sure as hell tries. I definitely recommend fans of the late 80's/90's cartoons and great adventure movies should play this game if you haven't already. It's a fun ride with memorable characters and events that may warrant that extra playthrough to get all of the collectibles.

By Andy HooverThe core mechanics are perfectly competent and generally fun, the story is a little more solid by the end, and the music is genuinely great throughout. In other words, the adventure proves to be a fairly enjoyable one by the end, it just happens to be punctuated by moments of frustration throughout.
