At the end of the 1800s, the government declared a global ban on this legendary card game due to an increase in bar fights, divorces, and family feuds. It was political correctness gone mad.

Worth Playing
By Cody MedellinAwkward is just bad. Its premise is paper-thin, and its questions range from boring to shocking without a counter-balance to turn testy questions into a form of dark humor. The presentation is nonsensical, and the game doesn't seem to have any purpose. Its only saving grace is that the games are short, but it only takes one time before your party chooses to play something more whimsical instead. Unless you want to bring down the mood of the party or instigate arguments, there's no reason to have this game anywhere near your system.

By the_nmacI can't recommend Awkward. It's not fun to play by yourself, or with others, and the humor, other than a few hits, is also disappointing. If you want an awkward type of game to play, then find something else.

By Craig MajaskiSome games just should never be made and Awkward is a perfect example of one. It’s not worth 99 cents let alone the $12 asking price. The premise had promise but the actual questions are ridiculously watered down and boring. Don’t bother with this one.

By Kirk HinerTo be fair, you may get $12 of entertainment out of Awkward if you load it up at your next party. But because the questions aren't categorized by appropriateness for different age groups, adults will likely get bored and kids will likely get confused…and possibly traumatized. Each game session can be completed in 5 to 10 minutes, and with no variation to keep players engaged, that's about enough time to push players towards another Switch game or into another room altogether. Which one has the sausage cheese ball appetizer?

By Łukasz AnkudoAwkward is a great party game that up to 4 players are pitted agains each other in the game that breaks of builds relationships. It was the first game I played with my girlfriend and suffice to say, we are still together. Can't guarantee you won't loose a friend!
