Critic Reviews

It's hard to understand why such a flawed piece of work would be released without at least a major revision. Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! tries and fails not only at being a decent playable effort, but even at portraying a popular animation series for its fans. If anything, it provides an example of what not to do in a game.

It's just too bad that this dungeon crawler just doesn't live up to what it looks like. Maybe next time, Finn. Maybe next time.

Very little is enticing about Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! outside of the license being used, and even that isn't applied properly here. Cut the game length by half, cut the price even further, stick this in a digital shop, and you have an OK time-waster that doesn't overstay its welcome. Even then, I think most would see through the shoddy, repetitive structure that makes up the meat of this game. "Adventure Time" fans deserve far better than this.

Adventure Time honestly deserves a better game than this, and WayForward can certainly do much better. Even the soundtrack by WayForward mainstay composer Jake "Virt" Kaufman is very barebones here at best.

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW is a terrible excuse for a dungeon crawler with nothing to offer anyone.
