If we leave aside the problematic adventure mode, we think that also in the case of The Smurfs Village Party there are definitely enough colorful and fun situations that will satisfy the whole family.

The Smurfs - Village Party has good intentions and ideas, no doubt. Using the Adventure mode to get players to know each minigame in a natural way is an excellent choice, but the multiplayer part, which should be the biggest appeal, ends up lacking. Even so, this is another Smurfs game worth having at home to perhaps play with friends.

For long-term Smurf fans and younger audiences, The Smurfs – Village Party might tick several boxes on your party must-haves. With a nostalgic feel and loving tribute to The Smurfs, there’s plenty to entertain. Still, it all depends on whether you’re keen to attend despite the party’s little problems.

I jumped into The Smurfs - Village Party on a whim, hoping to feel the same dumb glee that I did when burning through Garfield Lasagna Party's trophy list. To my surprise, Village Party's ambitions rose much higher than a lot of games like it, but unfortunately the ensuing fall was much, much deeper than I could have imagined. This isn't worth your time, your kids' time, or anyone's.

There are so many reasons to play and enjoy The Smurfs Village Party. The multiplayer action is great, especially if you have kids. Furthermore, the open world is colourful and interesting. What’s more, if you love simple tasks and collectables, then this will float your boat. However, the adventure mode feels like an afterthought and it is rough around the edges. Despite these shortcomings, I enjoyed it and I recommend buying it here! Can you fulfil Pupa Smurf’s wishes? Help the Smurfs, avoid Gargamel and enjoy the festivities.
