Solitaire Battle Royal (2018)

Fortnite is the ultimate video game playground – with a rich world to explore, snappy third-person shooting, fun crossover content, and a wealth of cool side missions and objectives, it’s nearly impossible to get bored playing Epic’s definitive Battle Royale.

Fortnite is a near-perfect battle royale game that has lifted the genre to new heights and has managed to stay relevant for years on end.

Fortnite on PS5 is an improvement with a lovely 4K resolution and useful and accurate haptic feedback. Activity Cards help players get to the Battle Royale mode they want easily, jumping in quickly without wasting a moment. Adaptive Triggers disadvantage you in Battle Royale but are a nice addition in Save The World. Fortnite is still the same game, albeit with some nice quality of life changes on Sony's new console.

The juggernaut battle royale that is Fortnite has quite literally taken the gaming world by storm. From its simple multiplayer gameplay to its wealth of seasonal content, Fortnite shows no signs of slowing down. With the Xbox Series S|X consoles now with us, Fortnite has inevitably found its way to the newest members of the Xbox family.

Epic Games has achieved something truly special here, and I’m eager to watch its growth go even further.
