Let’s sing 2020 is a fun party game and one we definitely need in these darkest of times. Stay home and spread some joy, instead of the virus, by singing to your heart’s content with your family. It’s super easy to get into, there’s a variety of ways to play, and there’s a pretty decent mix of songs for the average person who doesn’t listen to weird stuff like me. Subjectively, this isn’t a game for myself but I can also objectively see why it will have massive appeal. Playing solo is only half the fun, get everyone involved and I guarantee you will have a good time.

In fact, Let's Sing 2020 with German hits hardly differs technically from its predecessor. Accordingly, the pros and cons are quite identical. Fans of the series should treat themselves to the current version, because the song selection is again quite appealing (although this is subjective). Maybe it would be nice to have a kind of Season Pass, with which you can get the new songs as a package and don't have to buy at least one medium or download every year. Nobody wants to change the disc every few songs and reload them, as it used to be the case with Singstar, although this will have to happen less often in 2020. SING ON!

Let's Sing 12 is a game that current pop fans will enjoy very much, especially when in the company of friends. In addition, the possibility of using our smartphones as voice input eliminates one of the natural barriers to entry for this type of game, such as the need to buy microphones.

Let’s Sing 2020 seems more aimed at people in their early 20’s with a few token classics spuriously thrown in for the older generations. Based on the game’s current track listing I personally probably would not have bought it, however, the DLC packs provide an assortment of tracks that opens the game up to more people that are over the age of 25. Let’s Sing 2020 plays well and can easily be used to form the basis of a party when people want to get together and also compete to see who the best singer is! Let’s Sing 2020 works as a karaoke video game and the point-focused levelling-up system and subsequent unlockables add a sense of satisfaction as you beat your score, unlock avatars and the use of songs in other play modes.
